Tips for Users

Returning users of open data

Open data enthusiasts, welcome back. Analyze Boston is the City of Boston's new open data hub that provides access to the city's map and other types of data in one convenient digital location. Now, you should be able to find 311 Service RequestsExisting Bike Networks, Property Assessments, and other types of datasets in a variety of file formats to suit your needs. The platform is also mobile friendly giving you the ability to search our datasets while on the go.

Please note the use of a consistent public domain license because we truly want you to use our data without restrictions. If you create or learn something from our open data (e.g. visualization, application, or data driven story) share it with us so we can showcase your work!

If you need a quick primer on Comprehensive Knowledge Archives Network (CKAN), an open source platform, see the videos below. Otherwise, explore away.
